Mat Pilates
Teacher's Diploma
Come and learn the full Mat Pilates repertoire, including the 34 essential and intermediate Classical Mat Pilates exercises alongside the layers of physiology and anatomy to build the knowledge, confidence, and skill set you need to become a great Pilates teacher.
Our entry level to qualify for a Mat Pilates diploma is a background of 30 hours of Mat Pilates classes.

Reformer Pilates Teacher's Diploma
Our reformer teacher qualification guides you through the 36 Reformer Pilates exercises, the history of Joseph Pilates, and how to work with one-to-one clients and groups, while providing a health and safety guide essential for safe, efficient, and adaptable class plans.
The requirement level for our Reformer Pilates diploma course is a level three Matt work qualification.

Hi, I'm Jen
I'm a former speech and language therapist turned passionate Pilates teacher.
After years of exploring different forms of exercise, Pilates became my anchor - helping me through herniated discs, major surgery, and recovery with strength, confidence, and mindfulness.
Now teaching full-time, I share this transformative practice through inclusive, supportive, and fun classes that blend classical Pilates with dynamic movement. I also founded the Island’s first men-only Pilates group, Men’s Club, fostering strength, mobility, and camaraderie in a relaxed, confidence-building space.
Hi, I'm Emma
Originally an island girl, I returned home to the Isle of Wight after 15 years away with a clear vision: to create a truly special space for group Reformer Pilates. I founded Isle of Wight Pilates seven years ago and, in 2023, proudly opened the island’s first group Reformer Pilates studio in Cowes.
It had always been my intention to create a Pilates teacher training organisation that supports teachers to thrive in a safe, nurturing and professional environment. Delivering our Teacher Training Diplomas from the Isle of Wight Pilates Studio allows for an immersive, real-world learning experience. We are proud to be an Award Centre for YMCA Awards and one of only 12 studios in the UK authorised to deliver this diploma.
My own training journey began in London in 2016 with STOTT Pilates. As an ex-commercial dancer, I blend contemporary and classical Pilates, with a strong focus on intelligent movement, safe progression and confidence. I discovered Reformer Pilates during recovery from a neck injury, and its transformative impact continues to shape how I teach today.
